Viktor Stahl
-
Role: Leader, Guitar, Lyrics, Concept
Vocals: Clean baritone / Dramatic vocals (Structure, Steel)
In life: Creator, head luthier of StahlCraft GuitarsAbout himThe man constantly trying to bring order to chaos. From the outside he appears cold and calculated — “a man of blueprints.” In reality, he is an artist searching for the perfect form.He builds guitars not as an engineering challenge, but in search of a sound capable of expressing what he cannot say aloud. He lifts iron not for numbers or performance metrics, but for form and strength — to feel the ground beneath his feet. He physically needs the weight of metal to avoid losing himself in thought.Deeply devoted to family. He worries about his reckless brother Jürgen (though he grumbles constantly) and worships his wife Clara, whom he considers the only “pure” element in their heavy and imperfect world. What he loves- The moment when he catches that perfect chord
- The smell of the workshop: hot metal, ozone, and wood shavings
- Long motorcycle rides that put thoughts in order
- Sculpture: clay, steel, bronze — materials more honest than words
- Photography: capturing geometry and texture in ruins
- Sketching: thinking with a pencil (his diary is a map of ideas)
- Poetry: rhythm born in silence or under engine noise
- Prose: documenting the band while dreaming of writing a real story someday
- Various classics (Gibson Les Paul, Fender Stratocaster, Ibanez)
- Heartforge Metallherz 7-string Guitar — his main guitar, nicknamed Confession
Jürgen “X” Stahl
Role: Bass, Extreme vocals, Chaos
In life: Industrial climber, high-altitude welder
About him
Viktor’s older brother and complete opposite. If Viktor is blueprint and order, Jürgen is an element that cannot be calculated.
He lives on the edge — not because of adrenaline addiction, but because only at the edge does he feel truly alive. His music reflects this: he dislikes rehearsing, plays raw, relying on instinct and physical power.
Viktor constantly tries to keep him from breaking his neck, yet secretly admires his fearlessness.
The scar on his neck — “Hephaestus’ Mark” — comes from a welding accident he never speaks about seriously, joking that “fire just tickled him.”
What he loves
- Height and the feeling of emptiness beneath his feet
- Sound that physically vibrates the chest
- Rusting industrial zones reclaimed by nature
- Taking risks (and annoying his brother)
- Ancient civilizations and their engineering genius
- Extreme travel and off-map expeditions
Arsenal
Instruments are consumables to him — like safety ropes.
- Warwick Corvette — main 5-string workhorse
- Waiting for Viktor to finally build the “ultimate” bass machine for him
Klara “Siren” Stahl — Herzstain
Role: Keyboards, Arrangements, Vocals
(Soul)
Vocals: Soprano / Pop-rock vocal (Emotion, Sky)
In life: Jeweler, engraver. Viktor’s wife.
About her
The heart of the band. The only one who sees light behind piles of metal and dark lyrics. She can calm male fury with a single touch of the keys. Conservatory graduate (piano & vocal).
Viktor calls her the tuning fork. When the band gets lost in heaviness and noise, she reminds them music must breathe.
Her jewelry work taught her to see beauty in details: while others think in tons, she thinks in carats. She brings the “snow-like” beauty and academic precision that keeps the band from becoming just a noisy workshop.
What she loves
- Silence after concerts
- Cold silver shine and precise lines
- Finding harmony where others hear noise
- When Viktor stops being an engineer and becomes simply a husband
Arsenal
- Nord Stage 3 — her atmosphere control panel
- Keytars (Yamaha, Korg, Roland)
- Acoustic grand piano for moments when electricity interferes with purity
Hans “Hammer” Richter
Role: Drums, Lead Vocals: Growl / Harsh
(Foundation, Earth)
In life: Hereditary blacksmith
About him
A silent giant. A human rock.
Naturally massive, he once felt embarrassed by his size — until he sat behind a drum kit. Viktor convinced him his weight and strength were the foundation of the band’s sound.
Kind and calm offstage, but behind the drums he becomes a forging press. He doesn’t just set rhythm — he drives it into the ground like piles.
For him, music is honest physical labor that should leave muscles burning.
What he loves
- Simple hands-on work: forging and repair
- Reliability and solidity
- Cooking for the band during trips with the same dedication he drums with
Arsenal
A mix of branded drums and handmade industrial percussion.
- Sonor EQ2 — base kit, sometimes double bass
- Custom “Frankenstein” kit reinforced for extreme loads
- Industrial percussion: ship steel sheets, fuel tanks, empty barrels, forging hammers
- Taiko drums for deep resonant thunder
Konrad “Volt” Maier
Role: Electronics, Synths, FX (Nerve),
Vocals
In life: Custom motorcycle mechanic
About him
Tech geek and mad inventor.
His mind works faster than his hands. If Viktor builds the structure, Konrad runs the electricity through it.
He can spend hours crafting a single sound, soldering circuits and combining the incompatible. For him, music is an electrical circuit.
He bonded with Viktor over V-Twin engines and ensures the band’s “engine” roars instead of coughs. He may seem to love machines more than people — he simply understands their language better.
What he loves
- The smell of rosin and old wiring
- Complex mechanisms and vintage synthesizers
- Reviving broken equipment
- Experiments that sometimes end in short circuits
Arsenal
- Custom modular synthesizer (looks like a nuclear control panel)
- Yamaha CS-80 — the “Old Man”
Occasional Moog Geddy Lee
